Rwandan President Paul Kagame today paid his respect to legendary Congolese opposition politician and former Interior Minister and Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC) late Etienne Tshisekedi.
Kagame had attended the national mourning ceremony in the Congolese capital Kinshasa of Tshisekedi the father of the current DRC President Felix Tshisekedi who died in Belgium at the age of 84 two years ago.
He laid a wreath on the remains of Tshisekedi which arrived Thursday in his motherland to join his ancestors.
The President earlier held a meeting with his counterpart in the State House.
Sources have confirmed a state funeral tomorrow in Nsele, east of Kinshasa expected to be attended by several Heads of State and Government.
