Dominic Raab, the former Ex-Brexit Secretary has punched Theresa May’s Brexit blueprint saying Britain rather remains in the 27-member EU bloc. He described the move as “even worse”.
Raab, who drafted the Brexit deal, has gone on record of high profile people opposing the deal a few days shy of a Commons showdown.
At least 80 Tory MPs have so far openly opposed the draft deal.
Meanwhile May is working around the clock seeking EU leaders’ support for her deal ahead of the Sunday Summit, which is seen as a major decisive moment.
"But, if you just presented me terms, this deal or EU membership, because we would effectively be bound by the same rules but without the control or voice over them, yes, I think this would be even worse than that," BBC quoted Raab as saying today.
